A high-school boy in the early 1970s is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone magazine about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies them on their concert tour. Featuring a band that is a mashup of Led Zeppelin and CCR.
Minneapolis rock pioneer Cindy Lawson and her band kick off the night with a set of original tunes and classic covers. The frontwoman for the pop-punk 80s/90s Twin Cities bands The Clams and Whoops Kitty, Cindy Lawson is a Minneapolis music scene legend. Now she's back to the business of making music and she is better than ever.
