Journalist, podcaster, and stand-up comedian Francesca Fiorentini brings The Bitchuation Room LIVE to Minneapolis by very popular demand! A live recording of the acclaimed podcast, a weekly caucus of progressive comics, activists, and thinkers hosted by Fiorentini and featuring special guests Zaynab Mohamed and Lizz Winstead!
Fiorentini has been featured on the podcast Lovett or Leave It, the BBC Arts Hour, and has been part of SF Sketchfest, SF Comedy Day, and the Asian-American Comedy Festival in LA. She hosts her very successful weekly political comedy podcast The Bitchuation Room, performs regularly at the Improv and the Ice House, where she hosts her sold out monthly show, New World Disorder, and tours comedy clubs across the country co-headlining with her husband, Matt Lieb.
Lizz Winstead is a stand-up comedian, activist, and the co-creator of The Daily Show, as well as the founder of the abortion rights organization Abortion Access Front (AAF), formerly Lady Parts Justice League. AAF is a comedy-driven nonprofit fighting for reproductive freedom. As an abortion rights activist, she uses humor to expose anti-choice extremism and destigmatize reproductive healthcare. AAF's on-the-ground campaigns reach across all 50 states, bringing energy and visibility to grassroots abortion providers.

Zaynab Mohamed is a trailblazing state senator, translator, and global leader from South Minneapolis, Minnesota. The youngest woman ever elected to the Minnesota Senate, she made history as its first female Muslim member and one of the few Black women to serve in the chamber. As a proud immigrant and community organizer, Senator Mohamed brings a lived experience to policymaking that centers equity, inclusion, and justice.
