Prairie Fire Choir (PFC) and The Foxgloves join forces to present Burn and Bloom — an evening of a cappella and Americana music! This concert marks the end of PFC’s 16th season and the choir will perform its signature, multi-genre mix of songs by artists like Prince, Queen, and the Cranberries, arranged by current and past members. The show will also feature a foot-stomping set by The Foxgloves, an all-women newgrass band that’s been thrilling Midwest audiences since 2019. Together, these two groups will deliver a memorable night of lush harmonies and soulful tunes celebrating the resilience of the human spirit.
Staking their claim in the Midwest music scene since 2019, The Foxgloves are an all-women Americana/Newgrass band from Minneapolis. Sometimes bright and driving, other times shadowy and searching, their vibrant four-part harmonies share stories that feel deeply human.
