Celebrating Joni Mitchell's iconic 1970s catalog.
In the early 1970’s, Joni Mitchell secured her legendary status with her landmark album, Blue.
She then switched labels and her arrangements became jazzier and more complex. The albums which followed—For the Roses, Court and Spark, The Hissing of Summer Lawns, Hejira, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter, Mingus and Shadows and Light—are masterworks, buoyed by a who’s who of ace musicians, and illustrating Joni’s songwriting at its apex.
Reckless Daughters pays tribute to these performances, featuring the vocals of Leslie Ball and Katie Gearty, with Karl Koopmann and Steve Lehto on guitars, and airtight rhythm and four-piece horn sections.
