Enjoy a special evening with local favorites Chris Davies & The Afterparty as they celebrate their highly anticipated new single, “Solid Ground,” inspired by Sharon G., Chris’s best friend and life partner.

CD & The Afterparty have a reputation of being highly engaged with their audiences, often telling short stories that give their songs a deeper meaning.

Opening the night is the entertaining and talented country and folk artist Thomas Sticha. Not to be missed!

Chris Davies & The Afterparty signifies the continuation and spirit that came after The Promise Land Band’s historic performance at the historic Turf Club in January 2019. They are a band based in the Twin Cities known for their splendid mix of americana and pop. Chris Davies & The Afterparty have been enjoyed by audiences from the famed 7th Street Entry to the Surf Ballroom. Their performances are highly entertaining and rich in original material. The Afterparty features Dan Baker on bass, Larissa Beck on background vocals and tambourine, and Joe Nelson on Mandolin.

Thomas Sticha is a country & folk singer-songwriter from Saint Paul. His debut country single, “Then It’s Gone,” was released in January 2024. This good, old-fashioned country tune marks the beginning of the avalanche for Thomas’ recorded music in the years ahead. The Midwest music blog Adventures in Americana called Thomas’ full-band set “thoroughly charming” and “an appealing (blend of) country/folk.” With heavy influence from classic country, bluegrass, and folk, his style of music is for fans of Tyler Childers, John Prine, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Zach Bryan, and more.
