Minnesota singer/songwriter & guitarist Craig Paquette and his band The Spartones celebrate the release of his new album, Back Together,
inspired by a book of poetry published in 1940 by his grandfather Donald J Paquette Sr.
Rounding out the night's celebration are popular Minnesota music-makers Thunderheads and Caitlin Nicol Thomas.

The Spartones were assembled by Craig Paquette to record his two solo albums, 2019’s Won’t Last Forever and 2023’s Back Together at Sparta Sound Studio.

In the midst of writing songs during the summer and winter of 2020/21, Paquette located a book of poetry published in 1940 by his grandfather, Donald J Paquette Sr. Reading the poetry, he began to feel a deep connection to a lost and never discussed part of his family’s past. Many of the poems speak of the turbulent times in the late 1930’s and reflect the times we are currently living in. The poems soon became the topic and provided most of the lyrics for four new songs as well as inspiration to continue writing the remainder of songs included on Craig’s new album, Back Together.
