**Come early for a rockin’ and a-rollin’ pre-show set by Doug Collins & The Receptionists!

Called "one of the most brilliant songwriters to emerge from the Twin Cities in nearly two decades" by southernminn.com, Doug Collins's hooky mix of Beatle-esque pop and classic country are highlighted in his energetic shows (both solo and with his crack band, the Receptionists), soulful singing, and honest, emotional songs. His 2013 EP, Davenport Iowa, includes the title track, which was voted finalist for “Best Song of the Year” by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, along with the song Lesbian Wedding, which was voted the same honor in 2014. His sophomore release, Complicated Compliments (2016) was also voted one of the "Best of the Year" by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Upon its release in September 2018, local legend and Minneapolis music critic Jim Walsh called Collin's latest album, Good Sad News, “his most fully-realized collection of songs to date." Good Sad News has since gone on to garner Collins international acclaim including his first European tour.
