Director Ondi Timoner present will be present and a Q & A will follow the screening. “DIG!” is a 2004 documentary film about the collision of art and commerce through the eyes of The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, focusing on the developing careers and the love-hate relationship of the bands' respective frontmen Courtney Taylor-Taylor and Anton Newcombe. It was shot over seven years and compiled from over 2500 hours of footage. It won the Documentary Grand Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. and was acquired by the Museum of Modern Art for their permanent collection.

In 1998 Paul Westerberg, the notorious lead singer of ‘The Replacements,’ embarked on a deeply personal solo album called ‘Suicane Gratifaction,’ with producer Don Was. DIG! Director, Ondi Timoner was just moving from music videos to documentary, when she was asked by one of her childhood heroes to follow him through the making of this record and back in time as they travel to his hometown of Minneapolis. 20 years ago Timoner completed the film, but it has never before been screened til now.
