The celebrated roots rockers come to Minneapolis!
Dustbowl Revival
has always been about pushing the boundaries of what American roots music can be. In over a decade of sonic adventuring and playing thousands of shows together in ten countries and counting, the group has collected a devoted fanbase coast-to-coast.
After spending years on the road, selling out hometown shows at LA's famed Troubadour, headlining festivals and wowing crowds from Denmark to China, Dustbowl Revival has never stopped making their joyful, booty-shaking soul songs and cut-to-the-heart rock ballads that lift up their transcendent live shows.

Based out of Venice, California, the Dustbowl Revival are an American roots orchestra whose colorful combination of swing, bluegrass, jazz, and Americana have earned them a national following.

Mashing the sounds of New Orleans funk, bluegrass, soul, pre-war blues and roots music into a genre-hopping, time-bending dance party that coaxes new fire out of familiar coal, Dustbowl Revival has become known for free-flowing and joyous live shows, combining a funky rhythm and brass section with a fast- picking string band section—opening for bands as diverse as Lake Street Dive, Trombone Shorty, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

“Dustbowl Revival’s upbeat, old-school, all- american sonic safaris exemplify everything shows should be: hot, spontaneous, engaging and, best of all, a pleasure to hear.” –LA Weekly

“So fun I went back to see them again the next day.” –Rolling Stone

On their latest release, 2020’s ambitious full length Is It You, Is It Me, the band wanted to strike into new terrain. As they mined new energetic material from the place where folk and funk music meet, they teamed up with producer Sam Kassirer (Lake Street Dive, Josh Ritter) and engineer Brian Joseph (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens). The latest album strikes a more personal note than ever before, representing the latest stage in a band that never stops exploring new sounds.
