Affirmative Murder is the true crime comedy podcast hosted by Alvin Williams and Francel Evans. Now, Alvin and Fran are taking their podcast on the road, coming to Minneapolis with Madison McGhee for a live podcast recording and discussion about true crime, representation, conspiracy theories, and more! It will be a night of collective fascination and empathy for true crime with special guests, Amanda and Lucy from Wine and Crime.
Alvin Williams is one half of the stand out true crime podcast duo, Affirmative Murder. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Alvin values community and has built a group of dedicated listeners. The success of the podcast has led Alvin to a number of tv credits, including multiple documentary and tv show appearances as a “true crime expert.”
Francel Evans is a Baltimore-based, passionate storyteller and the co-host of Affirmative Murder. With a focus on inclusivity and humor, Francel combines his sharp wit and keen insights to explore the darker side of humanity, all while fostering meaningful discussions about systemic issues and justice.
Madison McGhee is a Charleston, West Virginia native currently living in Los Angeles. As a producer, writer, and director Madison worked in the film and television space before diving into the audio space. In addition to her breakout podcast, Ice Cold Case, where Madison is investigating her own father’s unsolved murder, she is developing scripted film projects.
