FAREWELL MILWAUKEE
With a rich blend of Americana and alt-country, along with a mix of passionate rock & roll, Farewell Milwaukee adds color to the Midwestern landscape. Mainstays of the Minneapolis music scene since 2008, the six members of Farewell Milwaukee embrace the role that their Midwestern hometowns have played in shaping them artistically, garnering them fans through their authentic lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, and an honest sincerity at their live shows. It is because of this, they have gathered accolades from local and national press, landed song placement on major-network TV, opened for the Lumineers (among others), and are featured on compilations alongside Mumford & Sons, Adele and Amos Lee.

The band’s success has given them perspective and an appreciation for their roots, which continuously comes across in FM. Their latest album, FM, is filled with a thematic sense of grounding, shaped by the stage-of-life lens of being husbands and fathers, and it is this concept of home base that made a concrete impression on FM’s overall flowing sound.

JACK KLATT
Part balladeer and part bluesman, Jack Klatt is a dedicated songwriter and finger-style guitarist based in Minneapolis. His sound pulls from a wide range of American music, from iconic rhythm and blues and the early days of rock n’ roll, to classic country and folk music. Partner that with Jack's signature honey-toned, whiskey-soaked vocals. In the words of Americana Roots UK, "Jack doesn’t rely on other writers for his diversity, he can write in pretty much any musical style of his choosing.”

Jack's won recognition from the Minnesota state arts board, recorded alongside “Spider” John Koerner, and made it onto Daytrotter’s list of best songs in 2014. His 2016 release, “Shadows in the Sunset,” has been praised as “an eminently satisfying, slow rolling, Country/Blues album” by No Depression and made it onto Saving Country Music’s list of 2016 essential albums. His highly-anticipated next release is currently being recorded in Chicago.
