Ferris (Matthew Broderick) has an uncanny skill at getting away with cutting classes. Intending to make one last duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, "borrows" a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day journey through the streets of Chicago – with principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), hot on his tail, determined to catch him in the act. Meanwhile best friend, Cameron (Alan Ruck), wallows in depression, unaware that 37 years later his time will come in the form of an Emmy nomination for Succession.

For more than a decade, the Silverteens have thrived by combining ’60s-influenced Garage Rock with their own hard-charging brand of Punk/Power Pop. The band members — mainstays on the local scene since the 1980s — include Terry Isachsen, Steve Olson (Laughing Stock), Jerry Johnson (MezzoFist), and Mark Engebretson (The Whole Lotta Loves).
