A coming-of-age tale following the brief exploits of Slimer, a Class 5 Full Forming Vapor as they navigate the complexities of no longer being alive. Roaming the halls of the Sedgewick Hotel in bustling New York City, Slimer quickly becomes friends with Dr. Peter Venkman before sadly learning of Dr. Venkman’s true identity, a Ghostbuster. Slimer attempts to flee to their beloved ballroom only to be trapped by Dr. Venkman and his heartless associates.
