Outpost: Words & Music
A performance series created in 2018 by Twin Cities musicians Sam Bergman and Carrie Henneman Shaw, Outpost comes out of hibernation with a brand-new winter show commissioned by The Great Northern Festival. Outpost is a curated mix of live chamber music by living composers and spoken word performances by some of Minnesota’s finest writers, comics, poets and theater artists.
Broadcast in HD video with stereo sound — from one of the best live music rooms in the Twin Cities.
This livestream event features world premieres by Dameun Strange and Daijana Wallace, new music by Du Yun and Marcus Norris, words by Safy Hallan Farah, Maggie Koerth, and Brandi Brown — as well as performances by members of the Minnesota Orchestra.
