A father (Hoyt Axton) returns from Chinatown with an unusual gift for his son Billy (Zach Galligan) — a pet Mogwai. The rules are simple: Keep your Mogwai away from water, never expose him to bright lights and, most importantly, never – ever – feed him after midnight. All three rules are followed and nothing else of significance happens.

Kicking off the night of mischievousness is Minneapolis music-makers, The Orange Goodness — bringing their signature brand of groove-infused, indie rock to The Parkway stage. Featuring Mike Michel (vocals/guitars), Ian Allison (bass) & Reese Kling (drums) — the trio have been in the psyche of music enthusiasts for their sidemen work with Minnesota greats Dessa, Haley, Jeremy Messersmith, Desdamona, and Iffy, but their first love is writing and performing memorable rock songs. Drawing inspiration from Gorillaz, Beck, Cake, Vulfpeck and The Black Pumas, The Orange Goodness are sponges for global rhythms and organic analog sounds that move and inspire. The Orange Goodness are trying to help the planet one song and one gig at a time!
