A gadget salesman (Hoyt Axton) returns from Chinatown with an unusual pet, a Mogwai – a gift for his son Billy (Zach Galligan). The rules are simple: Keep your Mogwai away from water, never expose him to bright lights and, most importantly, never – ever – feed him after midnight. Billy follows the three rules and nothing else of significance happens.

Simon Husbands is a Brit from Nottingham UK, now based in Minneapolis. As part of the band BLUE TRAIN, Simon achieved US chart success in 1991 with the song 'All I Need Is You' which spent 13 weeks in the Billboard Top 100. His first solo album entitled POP was released late 2020 with a new album expected in early 2024. His long-running weekly radio show on KFAI 90.3 FM is called True Brit!, which celebrates British music and culture in Simon’s inimitable style.
