Ukulele Songbird – Singer of sad songs on a happy instrument!
Katy Vernon was born and raised in London, UK, but in the past dozen or so years has established herself as one of the busiest musicians in Minnesota. Combining melodic pop/folk songwriting with her twangy Americana band, she has appeared with acts such as Dessa, Chastity Brown, Adam Levy, Chris Koza, jeremy messersmith, Mary Bue, Garrison Keillor, and the James Sewell Ballet, in addition to more than 50 shows a year. She also puts on an annual Uke Fest benefit to raise funds for charity. Katy is currently booking her third UK tour and uses her love of singing and playing ukulele to make musical and charitable connections far and wide.
One of the Twin Cities’ most beloved folky singer/songwriters.

Much admired and beloved by audiences and fellow musicians alike, Dan Israel is a multiple Minnesota Music Academy (MMA) Award-winner whose music continues to garner praise around the globe. No Depression calls Israel one of Minnesota's most "notable folk rock bards" and American Songwriter magazine in Nashville calls Israel a "hometown hero who can pack a local venue to the gills," describing his sound as "combining pop hooks with the rootsy orchestration of Neil Young's slower material."
A prolific musician and performer, Dan recently returned to Minneapolis following a whirlwind European tour in support of his 14th studio release, You're Free.
Tori is a 16-year-old singer / songwriter from Minneapolis. Her songs range from hopeful optimism to some angry rock and roll, writing lyrics beyond her years.
At just 15, Tori made her stage debut at UkeFest 2017. (Hosted by Katy Vernon!) Since then, she has played numerous local stages with audiences ranging from 10 to 1000.
With a big voice in a small package, Tori is ready to challenge any stereotypes of teenaged girls with ukuleles...
Laurels String Quartet
The Minneapolis-based Laurels String Quartet is as comfortable playing in a rock club as they are in a concert hall. Over the better part of a decade, they’ve made music with artists like Belle & Sebastian, Macklemore, Father John Misty, Semisonic, Dessa, Haley Bonar, Motion City Soundtrack, The Suburbs, The New Standards, Grammy Award Winner Dan Wilson (Adele, Taylor Swift), John Munson, and many more. The Laurels have also been featured on the Late Show with David Letterman alongside frequent collaborator, jeremy messersmith.
Prairie Fire Lady Choir
Prairie Fire Lady Choir is a Twin Cities-based, a cappella singing group of sixty members who raise their collective voices across the state in support of art, community, and creativity. Formed in 2010, PFLC offers a supportive, fun, and educational environment to explore musical passions. The current repertoire includes covers from local artists Aby Wolf, Prince, The Replacements, Matt Latterell, Chris Koza as well as original compositions from talented choir members. PFLC can also be heard singing unique arrangements of songs by national artists Leonard Cohen, Twisted Sister, Lucius and Bikini Kill. The choir has performed at a wide variety of events and venues throughout the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.
This rock 'n' roll-flavored vocal group balances cool, casual fun with rich emotional depth.
