Celebrate the new album release from American roots and soul artist Joyann Parker! Her next chapter arrives with Life Lines, inspired by the stories written across our lives, in memory, and in the lines we carry as we grow older.  Rooted in a lived-in, vintage aesthetic shaped by the sounds of the 1970s, Life Lines draws influence from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison, and Albert King.

Joyann Parker is an American roots and soul singer-songwriter whose powerhouse vocals and emotionally rich, genre-blending sound have made her one of the most compelling independent artists in today’s modern roots landscape. Drawing from blues, gospel, jazz, R&B, and vintage Americana, Parker pairs raw vocal authority with deeply human storytelling. Known for her electrifying live performances and unwavering authenticity, she has built a devoted fanbase through craft, connection, and emotional honesty. Her albums Out of the Dark (2021) and Roots (2023) both charted on the Billboard Blues Albums chart, with Roots debuting at No. 10, an achievement driven entirely by her fan community and a defining milestone in her career.

“dynamically emotional and goosebumps-inducing voice” — Jon Bream, Star Tribune

“She has the kind of vocal that can call down the stars when necessary, but then the woman can go quiet and deep in a way that is nothing short of devastating. It is a road of joy to discover what Joyann is capable of.” — Bill Bentley, Americana Highways
