Internationally acclaimed Miguel Espinoza Fusion brings its Living in a Daydream Tour to Minneapolis. Based in Denver, the renowned ensemble twists jazz, flamenco, Cuban and classical Indian musical forms into intoxicating journeys that thrill audiences around the globe.

Hailed as one of the best flamenco guitarists in the world, Miguel Espinoza has recorded and performed with the likes of Bela Fleck, Kai Eckhardt, Tuck and Patti, Rita Moreno and Ben Vareen.

Joining this very special performance is Grammy-nominated vibraphonist Dave Hagedorn.

A stunning and unique quintet ~ Marc Phillips, The Vinyl Anachronist

Miguel Espinoza Fusion is world class global chamber music making that explodes the parameters of style, yet ever remains close to the heart. ~ David Balakrishnan, founding violinist/composer of the two-time Grammy winning Turtle Island Quartet

This music is so haunting you’ll feel like you’ve never heard sounds like these before, but the compositions are so full of timeless beauty you’ll feel like this music has always been alive inside you. ~ Gerald Laurence, Immedia Wire Service

While the group’s music seems firmly rooted in jazz tradition, their keen (almost telepathic) sense of interaction, openness to eclectic cultural influences, freedom to innovate, and attention to timbral contrast make it into a gorgeous global chamber music performance emphasizing beauty, elegance and intricacy. ~ Joe Ross, Roots Music Report
