Trailer Trash
Now in their twenty-fifth year as a band, Trailer Trash has turned generations of music lovers on to its brand of American roots, country, swing and rockabilly. Their contagious enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment onstage have earned Trailer Trash the reputation of being Minnesota’s premier honky-tonk band.
A fixture on the Twin Cities music scene, Trailer Trash have performed at Jesse Ventura’s Inaugural Ball at the Target Center and played the opening of the new Guthrie Theater. The band has provided the soundtrack to hundreds of Twin Cities courtships and wedding receptions. Their popular annual "Trashy Little Xmas Show" is considered a seasonal staple, selling out around the state. They are also know for giving back to the community, frequently lending their talents to supporting a variety of Twin Cities non-profits. Somewhere in all that time, the group racked up seven Minnesota Music Awards, appeared in two movies, (Herman USA and Dill Scallion) and put out six albums.
Patsy Cline
Considered one of the most influential, successful, and acclaimed vocalists of the 20th century, Patsy Cline was an American country music singer and "cross-over" pop singer in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In the eight short years that she recorded music, she left behind a catalog of timeless classics that will always be sung, and a voice that will continue to influence artist of all genres and generations.It spoke volumes when the First Lady of country music, Tammy Wynette, had this to say in the liner notes of The Patsy Cline Collection: “In the cotton fields of Mississippi, I would daydream about being Patsy Cline. Patsy is and perhaps will always be the standard bearer for all female country singers.”
