Escape to the hilariously switched-on world of Programme 4, a far-out, feature-length “broadcast” from the Botany 500 Age of Television. Created by visionary director Rachel Lichtman, Programme 4 transports you into surreal, parallel-universe programming from the wall-to-wall carpeted dimension of Golden Sands — screened at exclusive, in-person events for your immersive analog pleasure.

With special guest stars: Trace Beaulieu & Frank Conniff, aka The MADS, with a live launch of their new series DIAL M FOR MADS.

Programme 4 is more than just a collection of too-great-to-be-true TV shows, razor sharp sendups of local commercials, and mind-blowing interstitials. Each Programme 4 show is unique, custom-tailored for its host city and featuring local celebs and artists, adding to the local-TV vibe of the Programme 4 “telecasts.” From cinemas to star-studded variety showcases, it’s a live, anything-can-happen happening.

Featuring special guest stars, talk show-style Q&A’s hosted by notable authors/radio personalities, Rhodes pianos, surprise walk-ons, & more! It’s also a transcendent, deeply affecting experience that challenges perspectives, crossing retro-nostalgic laughs with reflective moments recalling the emotional architecture of a pre-internet existence. It’s a new look at people, places and feelings long forgotten, viewed through a kaleidoscopic lens. And consistently, surprisingly hilarious.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 stars Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff return with their movie-riffing livestream series, DIAL M FOR MADS!

Trace Beaulieu is a comedian and actor most famously known as a founding member of the Peabody award winning series Mystery Science Theater 3000 where he originated the roles of Crow and Dr. Forrester. He is less famously known for his turn as a biology teacher on Freaks and Geeks, and gave a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it performance as a guy asking for money on The West Wing. Pre-lockdown he and Frank Conniff toured the country with their live riffing show, The Mads Are Back. Frank and Trace reprise their roles as mad scientists on the new MST3K: The RiffTrax Experiments.

Frank Conniff was a writer/performer on Mystery Science Theater 3000, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Invader Zim, The Drew Carey Show, The New Tom Green Show, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, Cinematic Titanic, and The Mads Are Back with Trace Beaulieu. He has written twelve books, and lives in Minneapolis with his cats.
