A teenager at Rushmore Academy (Jason Schwartzman) falls for a much older teacher (Olivia Williams) and befriends a middle-aged industrialist (Bill Murray). Later, he finds out that his love interest and his friend are having an affair, which prompts him to become a filmmaker and direct a film called Rushmore about a teenager at Rushmore Academy (Jason Schwartzman).
Kinda Kinky are a band exclusively devoted to the music of The Kinks. Mixing many hits with deeper album cuts takes the audience on a rockin’ journey back in time. Seasoned vets of the Twin Cities music scene, these well respected men are one of the most disciplined, hardworking acts in town. With over 130 Kinks songs in their repertoire, they’re fronted by the uncanny Ray Davies soundalike Dave Randall, along with his sparring partner Keith Patterson and the very formidable rhythm section of Steve Kent and Paul McFarland. Kinda Kinky are more preservation society than tribute band - these four Kinkies like nothing more than rocking out & having fun, from morning ‘til the end of the day!
