Minneapolis singer/songwriter Sam Wilbur celebrates the release of his new album, Ivory Tower, in a special performance joined by Kiss The Tiger’s Meghan Kreidler. The evening promises to be a moving live experience that is both intimate and electrifying, mixing Wilbur’s storyteller roots and the fervor of his activism-driven songwriting along with Kreidler’s lights-out vocals — together yielding the perfect musical cocktail this country needs.

Minneapolis psychedelic pop-rock band The Cameras opens the night!

Samuel Wilbur is a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter, high school teacher, and passionate environmentalist. By day, he teaches social studies and journalism; by night, he crafts indie rock anthems packed with lush harmonies, sharp hooks, and powerful messages about climate change, late-stage capitalism, the rise of the oligarchy, and holding on to hope.

His upcoming album, Ivory Tower, is a global collaboration recorded across four continents. The album takes aim at the global climate crisis, the rise of the billionaire ruling class, and finding hope while the world always seems to be unraveling. Wilbur combats these threats with catchy ‘90s guitar riffs, haunting string melodies, anthemic trumpets, and powerful lyrics that inspire action. The album features standouts from Minnesota's vibrant music community, including five songs with the electric vocalist Meghan Kreidler of Kiss The Tiger; powerhouse producers Andy Thompson and Matt Patrick; vocals from Minnesota's Best New Band, Kiernan; and groove-rich basslines from Ian Martin Allison. The album's themes are prescient and impossible to ignore. This history teacher delivers powerful lessons through his music that are accessible, resonant, and bound to strike a chord with anyone who is paying attention. Band members include Samuel Wilbur, Bob Beahen, Matt Patrick, Hank Donato, Nathan Johnston, and Meghan Kreidler.
