Lloyd (John Cusack), an eternal optimist, seeks to capture the heart of Diane (Ione Skye), an unattainable high-school beauty and straight-A student. But Diane's overly possessive, divorced father (John Mahoney) doesn't approve and it will take more than the power of love to overcome the restraining order taken out when a trench-coat-clad Lloyd shows up at Diane’s house hoisting a boom box above his head cranked to 11.

Adam Bohanan is a Twin Cities-based musician who frequently performs in NYC and tours around the country. In 2024, he was semi-finalist on Team Reba on Season 26 of The Voice, describing his music as “Dirty Soul.” He writes and performs a mix of Soul, Funk, Jazz, and R’n’B. His influences include Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo, Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, and many others.
