Cheer on your favorites, scream the others off screen. It's the short film competition where your opinion actually matters.
15 short films will run, without interruption, until the little red light enters the lower left hand side of the screen. Films less than 4 minutes will get the red light at the half way point. Films more than 4 minutes will get the red light at the 3 minute mark. Once the red light appears onscreen, viewers can thumbs down for "GONG" or thumbs up for "LET IT PLAY". If the gongers are the majority, the film will be cut short and we'll move on to the next.
Viewers must clear their thumbs up/down before the next film starts OR before they leave the stream (which we strongly advise against).
At the end of the night, we will provide a link for viewers to cast votes for their favorite which will determine the winner. We will give the streaming audience 3 minutes to vote before revealing the winner LIVE.
HOW TO ENTER: At 7pm on Tuesday April 28th, we will accept the first 15 email submissions that enter our inbox after 7pm. Any emails received prior to 7pm will be disqualified. We will let all submitting filmmakers know if they do or do not make the cut.
Only one film / person. The same film can only be resubmit if it was gonged at a previous competition AND the filmmaker has re-worked it.
