The beloved Parkway exclusive returns for its fourth annual performance!

A rare orchestrated live concert experience of the Beatles' landmark 8th album (released 58 years ago in May 1967), performed in its entirety from start to finish, along with a second set devoted to late-period Beatles classics.

A singular achievement in the history of recorded music, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band saw the Beatles reaching their creative peak, utilizing strings, horns, sound effects, animal sounds, and even a calliope. The 12-piece Shabby Road Orchestra will be joined on an expanded Parkway stage by a staple of friends, including members of the Laurels String Quartet, cellist Michelle Kinney, harpist Phala Tracy, sitarist Mark Ilaug, and tabla percussionist Ron Fearing

The Shabby Road Orchestra is a Minneapolis ensemble dedicated to the live recreation of the Beatles’ late-period recordings, note-for-note, as heard on the band’s final five albums. Every show is different but always includes a broad selection of rarely-performed material from the Fab Four’s much-loved catalog.

The Shabby Road Orchestra is:

Adam Levy, guitars, vocals
John Eller,  guitars, piano, vocals
Brandon Sampson, guitars, vocals
Joe Carey, guitars, vocals
Ken Chastain, drums, vocals
John Fields, bass
Tom Scott, keyboards, sound effects, percussion
Paul Scott, piano
David Foley, horns, woodwinds
Andy Nelson, woodwinds
John Sievers, brass
Jacqueline Ultan, cello
