O come, all ye of any faith, families, friends, and misfits alike! It’s time to gather ‘round! That ol’ Yule Schtick is waiting for us to light a fire and get the season started! No need to be a Grinch. We all understand the assignment. Make ready your dancing shoes and shake out your ugly Xmas sweater. THE TRASHY LITTLE XMAS SHOW is bringing you HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
"Like the classic country songs they purvey year-round, Trailer Trash's annual 'Trashy Little Xmas' marathon never seems to get old." — Chris Riemenschneider, Star Tribune
Trailer Trash got its start as a regular attraction at Lee's Liquor Lounge in downtown Minneapolis. With the popularity of retro-country music and swing-dancing in the mid-90s, the band found a following among new generations of music lovers. Trailer Trash is known for playing traditional country music but they can swing, rock and groove in a wide variety of styles from the American hit parade. For 25+ years, the band has turned generations of music lovers on to its brand of American roots, country, swing and rockabilly.
Their contagious enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment onstage have earned Trailer Trash the reputation of being Minnesota's premier honky-tonk band. Trailer Trash enjoys its reputation as a fixture on the Twin Cities music scene. They have performed at Jesse Ventura's Inaugural Ball at the Target Center and played at the opening of the new Guthrie Theater. They have provided the soundtrack to hundreds of Twin Cities courtships and wedding receptions. Somewhere in that time, the group racked up seven Minnesota Music Awards, appeared in two movies (Herman USA and Dill Scallion), and has put out seven albums, including their most recent release, aptly titled Crazy for Xmas.
For decades, Trailer Trash's Trashy Little Xmas Show has been a seasonal stand-out, selling out venues around the state and providing the perfect accompaniment to the holiday hoopla.
