Two stoners (Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong) accidentally invent the world’s first marijuana-powered van and unknowingly drive it straight across the U.S./Mexico border — smuggling a literal ton of weed. Along the way, they form a band, get deported, eat a suspicious amount of snack food, and forget what they were doing approximately every seven minutes.
