Weird Stuff Only comes to The Parkway! Expect to be delighted by music, film, puppetry, animation, dance, performance art, and more. Come with an open mind, leave with an open heart.

Weird Stuff Only is a carnival for peculiar durational art – peculiar here meaning "weird," and durational meaning "it starts, takes a certain amount of time to do, then stops."

Weird Stuff Only showcases and interviews the weirdos whose work is too expansive for the traditional art circuit – giving them a platform to show off and talk about their practice.

Baki Baki Baki is a Black Native poet and creator from North Minneapolis. Identifying both as a trixta and healer, BBB meditates on what it means to be Black, what it means to be Native, and how both sacred identities interrogate the definitions of both gender and sexuality.

Sishir Bommakanti is an animator, illustrator and painter from Minneapolis. He works in the realm of the surreal, mythological, absurd, and the fringe.

Gabriel Rodreick is a multi-disciplinary artist from Minneapolis. Gabriel’s music, dance, poetry, and visual art has been his way of learning how to live in a body. At the age of 15, he injured his C5 vertebrae and has been living with quadriplegia and using a wheelchair since. His dark, dank, and dirty artistic voice tells stories of life blooming in the shadows and those lives taking shape in a myriad of bodies.

Anna Dolde is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Seattle, now living in Minneapolis. Her primary instrument is saxophone, but she also sings and plays flute and bass clarinet for projects across the Twin Cities, including Rabeca, Willow Waters, Freaque, Superbus Maximus, and others. She always wants to present vulnerability and visceral emotional energy when she performs, and really enjoys being a dingus any hour of the day.
