Willow (Warwick Davis), a farmer/apprentice magician, meets Madmartigan (Val Kilmer), a great swordsman. Together they journey through a war-torn land of magic and monsters, to save a baby princess from death at the hands of an evil queen (Jean Marsh). Just once I’d like to see a non-evil queen in one of these movies.
