The Young and the Rest is a girl-powered reboot of Neil Young and your favorite ‘70s acoustic artists including America, The Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, CSN, and more. The new album, recorded live on MayDay 2024, captures all the energy this group creates when women recreate hits originally made famous by men. No impersonators — clearly reimaginators!

The Young and the Rest features the siren-voices of SimpleGifts (Carin Vagle, Karen Paurus, and Amy Curtis) combined with a Celtic twist (Laura MacKenzie on whistles, flutes, and bagpipe), alongside acoustic guitar (Billy McLaughlin), and percussion (Billy O).
