Comedian Mary Jo Pehl is best known for the television show Mystery Science Theater 3000 as a writer and the beloved evil nemesis Pearl Forrester. She currently teams with Bridget Nelson making hilarious movie commentary on RiffTrax, and toured the country to sold-out audiences as a writer and performer with Cinematic Titanic, the live version of Mystery Science Theater. Mary Jo has appeared at clubs and festivals throughout the country, including Comedy Corner Underground and 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis; San Francisco Sketchfest; NorthBar in Chicago; and Frontera Fest and Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, TX. She was featured in the Minneapolis edition of Mortified, and stars on the Seeka and YouTube series, Ruth Larson Lives! Her greatest accomplishment is being a crossword puzzle clue in a national magazine with a circulation of over nine million.
